Song of the Hill comes home

Song of the Hill comes home

Song of the Hill comes to St John’s Doddington at 6:30pm on 1st August! Everyone is welcome and the event is free.

Following the sensational performance at St Laurence’s in Ludlow last month, there is another opportunity to experience the Song of the Hill, a new collection of songs celebrating the heritage of the area. Songwriter in residence Sid Peacock will be joined by local musicians.

Written with children from Clee Hill Community School and inspired by the many stories that people have shared with Sid, these new songs continue the legacy of local folk musicians such as Dennis Crowther. They bring the voices of Clee Hill now into the story of the hills from prehistory onwards.

Please join us for this special celebration. At St John's Church, Doddington DY14 0HL.
Parking at the Village Hall 100yds on the opposite side of the road.
