A unique film afternoon, a special place, and a singular clock!
A reflection from participants on the creative process of writing and performing the Song of the Hill. This year-long project was a part of Beacon on the Hill a Heritage Lottery funded project at St John's Doddington Shropshire. Lead by songwriter in residence Sid Peacock, local people came together to create new pieces of music which celebrate the Clee hills. A finale performance at St Laurence's Ludlow featured school pupils, choirs, local musicians and visuals by Simon King. This film created by Simon Peter King.
We are delighted to share this film made by Simon Peter King which gives an insight into the last year's activity to create the Song of the Hill.
Thank you everyone who helped make this project so special. The performance on the 1st of August at St John's was quite magical.
